How Brickuity handles account, collection, sync, and support information.

Last updated: August 24, 2026

This policy explains what Brickuity handles when you use the collection, purchase, budget, wanted-list, account, sync, and support features.

Brickuity is operated from the United States and is currently intended for users in the United States. It is not directed to people in the United Kingdom or European Economic Area.

Information you provide

Brickuity can store set identities, quantities, conditions, purchase prices, acquisition dates, stores, notes, sold-set and portfolio history, wanted items, budgets, display choices, and other preferences you enter or import. Support messages contain the information you choose to send by email. Never send a password or authentication code.

Age eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create or use a Brickuity account. Brickuity is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has provided personal information, contact support@brickuity.app so Brickuity can investigate and delete it.

Device storage and account sync

Your working data is stored in this browser. If you sign in, Brickuity sends an account-linked JSON backup—including collection, purchase, sold/history, wanted, budget, store, display, and cached set-enrichment data—to Brickuity’s sync service so it can be restored on another device. The sync payload is sent through the site’s authenticated HTTPS connection in production; it is not separately encrypted by Brickuity before transmission.

Each successful sync resets a rolling one-year expiration on the current cloud copy. A later sync replaces that copy. This application-level expiration does not describe how infrastructure providers retain security logs or backups.

Accounts and sign-in

We use an authentication provider to create accounts and maintain sign-in sessions. The provider may handle account identifiers such as your email address and session information as needed to provide and secure account access.

Where information comes from and account choices

Most collection and purchase information comes directly from you or files you choose to import. Account identifiers and session information come from the authentication service, and technical request information is generated when your browser connects to Brickuity. You can use device-only features without creating an account; an email address and account session are needed for sign-in and account sync.

Set information and connected services

Brickuity sends set numbers and, when needed, condition or batch selections through Brickuity endpoints to services that supply set details, images, retirement information, and market-price data. A bulk refresh may send enough batched identifiers to represent much of a collection, although it does not send the full collection records containing your prices, stores, or notes. See Data Sources for the current service list.

How information is used

We use information to operate collection tracking, purchases, budgets, wanted lists, value and metadata lookups, account sync, support, security, and service reliability. Brickuity does not sell personal information or use collection data for targeted advertising.

Service providers and technical requests

Authentication, hosting, cloud storage, and email providers process information needed to deliver their parts of the service. Ordinary web requests may include technical information such as an IP address, browser or device details, timestamps, and requested URLs. Provider-side log and backup retention is governed by those providers and has not been independently measured by Brickuity.

United States operation

Brickuity and its service providers may process information in the United States or other countries where those providers operate. Privacy and data-protection laws in those places may differ from the laws where you live. Brickuity does not represent that the service is appropriate or available in every jurisdiction.

Retention

Browser data remains until you clear it, replace it, or use a Brickuity action that removes it. Account and session information may remain while the account or session is active and afterward as required by the authentication provider’s security and retention processes. Support messages and ordinary technical logs may be retained as needed to answer requests, protect the service, keep appropriate records, and satisfy legal obligations. The rolling cloud-copy period is described above.

Your choices and deletion

You can export a backup from Settings → Data. Use Sign out & clear this device there to remove the signed-in Brickuity data held in this browser. You can also clear Brickuity’s site data through your browser. These actions do not themselves delete an account or the cloud copy.

Signed-in users can permanently delete their account and account-linked cloud-sync data in Settings → Data. For help with deletion or to request access or correction, email support@brickuity.app from the address linked to the account. We may ask you to verify ownership. Deletion from provider backups or security logs may follow the provider’s own retention process.

Privacy requests

Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or a portable copy of personal information, and to object to certain processing. Where processing depends on consent, you may withdraw that consent. Brickuity may need to verify your identity before completing a request and will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

To exercise a right or ask which rights may apply to you, email support@brickuity.app. Brickuity does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Automated decisions

Brickuity calculates collection values, trends, and other estimates, but does not use personal information to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Security and changes

No service can guarantee perfect security. Keep exported backups secure and do not share access credentials. We may update this policy as the product or its providers change; the date above identifies the current version.
